Premium Materials.
Great design is only half the battle when creating remarkable eyewear. This is why we chose to pair our frame designs with world-famous, Italian cellulose acetate from Mazzucchelli.
Mazzucchelli has been around since 1849 and is one of the world’s foremost producers of cellulose acetate for the eyewear industry. They are the gold standard for eyewear frame material and we are excited to exclusively use it to create all of our Folklore styles.
Cutting, Tumbling & Hand Polishing.
The process of cutting our frames from sheets of acetate (instead of using injection molding), tumbling, then polishing by hand creates a truly bespoke look and feel. This is a characteristic we think sets Folklore Eyewear apart from the masses choosing maximum margins over quality.
Quality Control.
We never drop-ship our frames because we want every single one to pass through our own hands before being touched by yours. Quality control is very important to us and is something we will never compromise.
Cutting, Tumbling & Hand Polishing.
Once an order is placed, your frames, readers, or sunglasses will be checked again to ensure everything is up to our standards before being shipped. At this time we may make some slight adjustments to your frame or simply clean your lenses before placing your new glasses in a hand made Napa Valley leather case.
